Force 150 wont idle, dies, spews gas

Hello,

I have a '92 Force 150HP that wont idle, spews gas out of the carburetors and just keeps dying on me.

I've taken the carbs apart, cleaned the jets and passages but it still does it.

Any ideas?

first I'd check the compression for a baseline reading.

Then remove intake and inspect the reeds.

I had similar issues with gas spewing out of the carbs and it was due to the floats not being set properly. Also make sure you have lynced and synced correctly.
