Force 50 hp 1988 water leaking

I recently had a water impeller and housing put in by a shop. Water squirts out of the right lower housing bolt, is this normal, boat seems to work fine, water is pumping out of appropriate places also. Any suggestions?

"at the right lower housing bolt"<br /><br />The one that connect the lower unit to the midsection?<br /><br />If the water is squirting out under pressure, I suspect something is wrong.<br /><br />If it is just flowing out, likely from the increased water flow from the new pump. It can pile up in the midsection sometimes and will leak out anywhere it can if it is not pushed out with the exhaust fast enough.<br /><br />Or the water tube might not be fully connected to the waterpump, causing water to build up in the midsection.<br /><br />Might be worth running it by the shop for their opinion.
