force 50 won't cut off

Hello, I have a 50 hp Force,89,model 507x9b.I took it apart put it back. It runs fine but the ignition switch won't cut it off the lanyard switch won't cut it off .I have a wire left it's about 5 inches long it's black.I think it's the problem but I don't know where it goes.help?

need more info.<br />list all wires connected to the switch and the terminals they are connected to.

I'm thinking that the wire goes from the CD module to ground. That's why it won't shut off.
