I replaced the trim motor on my 91 Force 70hp. The problem is that I’m not able to go fully up or down. At the time of replacing it I had the motor trimmed down and filled with fluid and worked it to about 1/4 of the way up then added more fluid. When getting the motor trimmed all the way up I was only able to go 1/2 way down. So I thought had too much fluid so drained some out till I could get it to go all the way down. From that being the motor trimmed down I was only able to go 1/2 way up. Im not sure what’s going on. I’ve look at the pump and it looks fine. The tube from the pump to the hydraulic cylinder are correct. The only way I got it to fully work is when I hooked a funnel to the fill port and ran the motor up and down. Seems like the new motor housing doesn’t have the capacity to hold all the fluid. Any help is appreciated. I also have videos of my problem but unable to upload them on the forum.
