Hi can anybody help with telling me which are the correct Pistons I need? I purchased new Pistons from wiseco part number 3164p3 when I tried to fit them I discovered that the wrist pin is too big as it measures 0.770 inches and my original wrist pin measures 0.658 inches, contacted the person I purchased them from and he says I need part number 3151p3 (piston) also bearing part number w216. After researching I discovered my engine is a 1991 (I think) as I cannot find the engine number, also can you tell me are force 90 L drive parts the same as force 90 outboard parts? Forgot to mention the standard bore size is 3.3750 but has been rebored to 3.4050, so now I have the correct size piston but the wrong size wrist pins to fit in the Conrod. Does anyone know if wiseco part no 3151p3 would be the correct wrist pin size as required thanks

The L drive blocks are the same as the outboard engines. If the bore is standard 3.375, then you do need Wiseco 3151 P3. The P3 indicates a .030 overbore. The wrist pin is the smaller size and because Wiseco pistons use a circlip to retain it you must also buy the bearing kit. It has the correct spacers for the connecting rod small end.
If you were sent the large wrist pin piston, that part number is 3164 and is incorrect for your engine.

An L-drive is an inboard mounted outboard motor.----Marketed for a few years to those folks who like the " clean look " of a boat.---Some folks just do not like outboards sitting on a transom.----Believe they got awards for innovation, but the concept was short lived.
