Force motor rebuild

Doing a motor rebuild on a force 125. Is there a preferred Marine RTV used with gaskets?

I've used Permatex Ultra Grey with excellent results. Only downside is that you need to clean the sealing surfaces with some Acetone, carb cleaner etc to make sure any oils are removed. I'm sure there are other brands of RTV that are also acceptable. Maybe some of the other folks will chime in with their experience.

I use Aviation Permatex Form A Gasket 3 gasket cement. It comes in a metal can with a pencil in the cap.
Really easy to handle and with good results.

I just use the black RTV from Permatex

The surfaces MUST be absolutely clean and dry.
