Does anyone know how to tell the year of manufacture on Force outboard motors ? The one I'm looking at is a 3HP with Serial No. 09711209<br /><br />Ayran<br />Auckland, NZ
I went to this site:<br /> http://www.marinshopen.se/guide/guide.htm <br /><br />Clicked on the "ModelGuide" tab at the top right.<br />Then click on brand, then hp, then.....<br /><br />Its in Swedish, but the numbers are the same.<br /><br />I couldn't find a matching number under Force, so I checked Mercury, since they made Force engines from 1990-1999. You may have an actual Mercury designed engine, but I am not familiar with the smaller models.
