My 1992 Force 120 hp has started giving a higher reading on the Tach. Than is correct. If I move the wires on the back of the dash it sometimes goes back to normal. Is that a wiring problem or a gage problem.

If you're moving wires and it changes, then you have a wiring problem....

Thanks. Should I replace all the wiring or just some of the wire close to the Gage.

You need to locate the problem wire/s and repair.

Yeah repair the bad connection unless you have something like the terminal/plug on the tack is moving or broken....then it will have to be repaired or replaced.
