forgot to tilt motor as i pulled away from ramp.

I really felt like an idiot and was extremely worried about doing damage to the boat. I pulled it a good 10 to 15 feet before my wife stopped me. she said it did not drag that hard but it did leave a white mark across the pavement./ What should i look for as far as damage done?

Any damage should be obvious. As long as you were going forward, only ther skeg or prop should've been damaged, and that should be just scraped up.

Wow... you really missed on that one. Probably you should post this in the outboards forum.



On the skeg thing, I think we've all forgotten to raise the drive a time or two. I personally did it with a new prop after my skeg had been broken off in an accident... so I got to go get another prop (and I have yet to have the damaged one fixed).

If all you did was drag the skeg a bit, then count yourself lucky

50 to 1 as far as I know but I stand to be corrected.

Your promotiom comes after you've forgotten to put the plug in.
