Hello all,

I've seen that some of the people posting here are from Ft. Lauderdale, specifically The New River area. While I have been 'from' this area for over 50 years, I only recently began boating here again. All my info is VERY old info.

I know the waterways, the reefs, the bars/restaurants, and a few fishing spots, but... all the GAS DOCKS we used to use are GONE... probably years ago.

Does anyone have a list of places to buy fuel on the waterways in the Ft. Lauderdale area..?? I probably will be boating as far north as Lighthouse Point, and as far south as Hollywood. And I keep the boat near Marina Mile, on the south fork of the New River. We used to get gas near the SR84 bridge over the Dania Cutoff. Haven't looked to see if that fuel dock is still there.

Certainly, the gas at gas docks is expensive these days...(D_MN!?!?!!!!!) But in the event of an 'emergency' or 'contingency'.. it would be good to know where fuel is located.

I have ~ 38gal below deck tank.. and I keep a 6gal portable as emergency. I usually only have about 24-28 gal in the 'big' tank. So I can get to most of the places I'm 'going' and back without re-fueling.
