I know this is probably not the right place to post this but does any one else have a page and a half of advertising at the top of the forum page or have I picked up a virus or something even the add is messed up to the point of being almost unreadable?

Not I sir. Perhaps it was a glitch which has been corrected, or might you be having browser issues?

Are you still seeing it?

I have got confused pages like that before and just emptying the cache files or temporary internet files can cure it.

If you installed any new programs and/or updates and didn't check what all gets installed, you may have installed one yourself.
They tend to bundle all kinds of tool bar and ad programs to programs and updates for some of them.
I got one installing a new Font for MS Word and it created all kinds of havoc.

I have experienced pages not looking properly and it ends up looking like a bunch of advertising without the actual thread that I was trying to view.

i just dump the page and reload it, seems to be fine once I do that.

Did you try clearing files, rebooting, etc? Is it happening all the time, or just a one time deal?

I haven't had many ads per page just one at the top that behaves itself and lots and lots of smelly feet at the bottom that do not. They keep coming back on every single page over and over again...

I emptied temporary files files ran malware bits, c/cleaner, rebooted several times and then I made the big mistake and downloaded IE10 now nothing works except Yahoo opens and it will not go any farther so I guess I need to get someone to look at it foe me. Both Google and Firefox work fine I just like to use IE best.

Still having similar problems with this site only, after my infection with delta search. Putting up with it until I'm finally cured. Tedious process.

You've been Googledized. Get rid of anything 'Google' except what might be available in the generic search box of your browser ...

Re: Forum page is a mess

Well the problem is back so here I am again, I added to this post because it gives some history. On about the 1st of May I reloaded IE 10 from a different source and everthing has worked well intill yesterday about 6 PM as I was answering threads on the Mercury Mariner forum and suddenly the problem is back. It is only on Iboats and not on all sites,it is only the Johnson and Evinrude, Mercury and Mariner, Yamaha and Force forums that it acts up. I have ran Malware Bits, AVG and Cleaner dump my temporary files and am at a lose at what else to do, I chose to use IE as I like the it works, if I must change browsers to use this site then I don't know what to do, I don't want to leave as I am addicted like many others to it it. While I am stewing, here is what the pages look like, Thanks for any help Bob

It's the "Compatibility Mode" on your browser. Click it one more time and it should fix everything.

No problem. I don't understand why Internet Explorer does that, but it does.
