I have not objected at all to the forum "upgrades". But whatever is happening now is making my head spin when I try to post. Hopefully this is still a work in progress?

Or...........it is my old fart computer illiterate self! :D

You have to ignore the big blue (+Reply to Thread) button and hit the grey and small print (Post Quick Reply) button to enter the post.

It's tough on us old geezers. I can't even see the little one without my readers.

Further proof that update does not necessarily mean upgrade.

We need a way to upgrade users at the same time so we know how to use the upgraded software.

I spent most of my adult life teaching people how to do stuff and writing manuals about how to do stuff. This modern approach of "Here it is, now you figure out how to use it." doesn't please me one cotton pickin' bit.

I have noticed lately that when typing a reply, it says Auto-Saved down in the bottom right corner. Maybe this is in response to so many people losing their messages after doing all that typing? I know it got me a couple times before I learned to copy my posts before hitting the button. I haven't tested it however, and not sure how you would recover a lost message yet. I'm sure it's in the works or already there....

I must have missed the upgrade for correcting grammar.

One more reason that the changing times are not always a good thing.

So what's with the "auto saved"; and how do we utilize it? Is it simply automatic, as implied? I've been wondering about this. Every now and then, I'll accidentally hit a random button and somehow lose the page I'm on. I'll need to navigate back to whatever site I'm on. Will this "auto save" actually save a post for me in such a case?

Facebook is the worst for this. And they're always changing it. Some websites are naturally intuitive to use, but FB uses very little logic in its interface "upgrades".
