Forward Drain Question

I just recently bought a 1988 Cuddy Citation LUCKY ME! LOL Question my floor drain in the forward cabin floor drains into the hull is there suppose to be some sort of tubing connected?

just drains into the bilge, and the bilge pump should pump it out.
