Hello all, I have a:
1998 Four Winns Horizon Limited Sport
Model: HRS-A98 --> HORIZON RS 10 STANDARD 1998 ? 18 Foot
Engine: 5.0 GL Model: 502BPBYC
OutDrive: Volvo Penta SX Cobra
Prod#3868883 (maybe 3868283?) Ratio 1.60
Now I am feelnig what I believe to be stiff cables on the Forward/Reverse throttle Lever. Ok so my thought is to take the cables out and lube them. i have a specialized cable lub-er devise - used for motorcycles but for the life of me I cannot get the handle off.??? Now I have worked on all sorts of cars and bikes, so there must be a set screw in the bottom small slot I see or hidden in the back somewhere but I have looked and poked for hours and i can't seem to get this assembly apart? Whats the trick?
Also the dealer said the cables are sealed? (right! sicker just wants to sell me a new 90$ ea set!! - ya he's a bit over zelious with the prices)
