Yesterday, spent about 15 minutes trying to clean one of my docking wheels with marine cleaning products, Even tried Magic eraser/409. It looked better but was not really clean. So, went looking thru all my cleaning products and found a bottle of Purple Power industrial strength cleaner/degreaser. Sprayed on the dry surface used a non scratch scouring pad and it brought the already cleaned area up to almost like new instantly. Cleaned the other wheel, 4 fenders, 10 large mounted rope thru fenders and still had some left. Bought the 40 oz bottle at Autozone for $3.99. Most auto and Walmart sells it. Compare that to an 8 oz west marine cleaner for $8 that I started with. For the real test I took one of my really old fenders from my storage box which was not usable due to its looks and it cleaned that up too. After cleaning applied some 303 protectant.
