It may not be a Lund,...but it will have to do! I found a used 14 ft. Sea Nymph boat on craigslist.com. It has a 9.9 Johnson motor, two trolling
motors(one will be a Johnson foot control model),anchor mates,and
navigation lights. I am going to check 'er out tomorrow morning and may
go ahead with the purchase. The owner wanted $1,350.00 for it but he
came down to $1,250.00. Oh yes,...it does have a trailer. The owner said
that he will be happy to fire up the motor so I can hear it run,...no lake nearby to lake test it,though, but as long as he has water going through it.
A buddy of mine said that while the motor is running to take the hood off and check for leaks around the powerhead. The boat looks to be the size of a 14R
model, only older. Pics will come later.

That sounds like good advise.

Hey Fire831,...been awhile since I seen you on iboats.com. Anyway, the boat is a 1973 Sea Nymph Model 14R. Has 9.9 HP Johnson motor, but according to
the capacities tag,this boat is rated for a 25 HP motor. Has two anchor mates,two oars(better have),navigation lights,...even a horn. Gave $1,250.00
in cash for the boat. Two trolling motors came with the boat, but they are
very old,...one is a foot control Johnson,...the other an old Wal-Mart cheapie.
I just need to get a battery to run the lights. Deep cycle trolling battery would work best for that,I assume. The boat looks pretty good shape.
Pictures to come later once I find out how to get them on here!

Re: Found a decent used 14 ft. Sea Nymph

After doing further research on my boat,...much thanks to this site for providing
that information in the Sea Nymph specs,...it is a 1973 14R "Big Water" Sea Nymph. According to the specs iboats.com has on record, the boat is rated for a
maximum of 25 horsepower for this 14 ft. craft. Currently she has a 1970 9.5(not 9.9 as the previous owner said)hp Johnson motor. I have a gut feeling that she may be a bit under powered with a 9.5 horse motor since she is rated
for 25 horsepower. I would like to upgrade that motor to a 25 HP Johnson motor
made between 1973 to 1990,...heck,I would even take an Evinrude 25 if I
could not find a Johnson motor for some reason. But,I favor Johnson instead.
Had one in the past and I loved that motor. Far more dependable than the
P.O.S Merc I had before it! Come on warm weather,...I want to try out my
"newly aquired" Sea Nymph 14R "Big Water" boat.
