hi i have a four winns freedom 150,,,and the floor is kinda rotton,,i know nothing about fiberglass boats,,,i have only had a aluminum boat before,,,,,,,,,,,im redoing the seats and all the padding,,with vinyl,,,,,,,,,,,,,,the floor i got new carpet ,,when i tore up the old carpet i found the rotton wood,,the stringers that i can see look pretty solid,,,its not extremely bad but thought if i laid new wood over it,,the carpet would eventually mold,,,,,,soooo questions i have is where the actual fiberglass and the wood meet there is a fibergalss filler? now it i tear the old wood up how hard is it to break that filler or is there a possibility of breaking a hole in the side of the boat?

Re: four winns 150/floor restoration questions

Ayuh,... Welcome Aboard,...

Cut it out, Near the edges, then trim it back to where ya want, alittle at a time...
It's Highly Doubtful you'll injure the hull...
If ya Do, just fix it up as ya go...
