In the late 1990's and early 2000 Four Winns models used a integrated insturment cluster on the dashboard made by VDO (has VDO on the front). CDI Electronic repairs these clusters for Four Winns and on their WEB site there is a manual specifiic for the cluster - lots of good info, after clicking this link select Four Winns Dashboard Manual

I hope Four Winns has fired the development engineer, I have a bad temp gauge, the entire unit has to be send to Alabama for repair at a fixed repair charge of $250 ! These instrument panels have been such problems that Four Winns came out with en entire dashboard retro fit replacement that plugs into the wiring harness and changes to individual gauges. Sounds great but the cost is $500 for the part ! That is your choice - pay $$250 to fix and if any other instrument goes bad - pay again or replace the entire dash for $500 (just for the part).
