this is not a political thing so please do not make it one! I just wonder why media in other outlets does not like it? Is it the same kind of thing why ford does not like chevy?

Re: fox news???

They are all competing for your entertainment dollars, in the form of advertising dollars. Others are mad that Fox's brand of entertainment makes more money their brand of entertainment.

Re: fox news???

Fox came in as a progressive company, the others are having problems catching up with the times. then there are all the cable channels.

Aside from fox news... think off all their tv show that were hits. Married with children, simpsons, family guy, arrested development. They have had some winners over the years while the big 3 have not so much.

Trying not to be political, but the (is it the fourth or fifth estate) media should not have a view either to the left or right, other wise they are sending out a biased opinion to the population, which will shape the populations beliefs, it rates up there with a propaganda campaign.

Re: fox news???

CNN, MSNBC tend to lean on the liberal side.

Fox tends to lean on the conservative side.

Just like partisan Wash. D.C. one side just has
to "bash" the other.

:eek:Now that I have thrown fuel into the fire of
a "political" thread which is not allowed here I'm
going to be banned for life.

And just after reaching a I-Boats milestone too.

Nice meeting ya'll. Best Wishes and Good Luck.:D

Re: fox news???

Fox news is really an entertainment show. Real news shows who focus on facts dont like people watching fox and not the true credible news shows. You see Fox has an agenda. They prove it with EVERY report they do.

Well as respectfully as I can say....'Fox News' is a contradiction in terms. Fox is an entertainment enterprise. I wouldn't trust their weather forecasts let alone their 'news' related programming.
If they stick to the apparent entertainment stuff.....fine, time for a laugh and some light duty stuff...but news as meaningful, factual information? gimme a break.;)
My two bits.

Re: fox news???

I try to remain out of the political stuff, but can't let this one go. Fox is not a news network - its a "Rupert Murdoch's view of the world, network."

I prefer to get my news from online newpapers. All the major papers have them. That way, I can read the conservative viewpoints, the liberal viewpoints and the middle of the road viewpoints. After doing so, I can make up my own my what I think about something. I don't need some bobblehead who wouldn't know news from a duck, telling me what to think.

Re: fox news???

Conservatives like Fox and don't believe NBC, etc. Liberals like the other networks' news and don't believe Fox.

Newspapers have political agendas, too.

Posters above ^^^^ have political leanings and agendas.

All of the above bash somebody.

I find that PBS News Hour pretty much offers both sides.

I am going to close this so that it doesn't continue the path it is on.
