Frame or hoist for outboard

My carburated Mercury 225hp cracked the block. Now I am buying a used Optimax to replace it. Meanwhile, I need to store my old motor on a homemade frame of some type. I plan to part it out and possibly have the powerhead rebuilt. Does anyone have any plans on building a frame or hoist to hold my 500 lb. motor on?. I would love pictures and spent all my money on the used motor so it must be inexpensive. I'm so-so with wood . Thanks,a dry docked boater.

Here is a thread from a while back that has some pics and discussion for different stands.

Motor Stands

You can see what I did with my 70 HP (+- 230lbs) here:

http://mysite.verizon.net/kilroyjc/id4.html

For your 500# motor I'd use sistered 2X4s instead of singles like I did, but you get the idea.

Hope this helps!
