It'll come with instructions. You just have to get the tab on the sender into the groove on the upper tilt pin and attach the unit with two screws. It's one of those rare 5 minute jobs. Getting it to read correctly will take a little more time. With the motor trimmed fully down, I set it so that it reads on the bottom line of the gauge. Unfortunately you can't get at it to make adjustments when it's down, so it'll take a bit of trial and error.
