Fresh Water Aux pump

I have a 1993 Chris craft 217 concept. The previous owner had a fresh water tank and shower handle installed. There is a hot water exchange too. When i pushed a switch on the dash for AUX. i heard a pump run and the shower would work. I no longer hear the pump when i push the switch. The swich seems fine. FOR THE LIFE OF ME I CAN NOT FIND THE PUMP FOR THE FRESH WATER SYSTEM. How can i find the pump and i tried to track it down. how was the tank put in anyway? any help would be appreciated. thank you

Depends on the system. If it uses compressed air to pressurize the water tank that's one scenario. If it uses a water pump to pump the water that's another. In the first situation the pump can be anywhere since it is supplying only air. In the second, the pump would be at or near the outlet of the water tank.

thanks Silvertip, i'll keep looking, but i can't believe its this difficult to locate it. I don't even know how they got the tank in, unless the pulled the engine out or was put in prior.
