Never used the fresh water tank on my boat but would like to. Nothing in the manuals on it other than filling. Anyone use theirs? If so how do you drain any residual water out of the tank? Will running the faucet get any leftover water out?

Re: Fresh Water Tank

We keep ours in constant use... but otherwise we use a quarter cup of bleach for every 100gals. Keeps the tank fresh without critters growing. We run the hose water for several minutes before filling tank to allow any mold or slime build-up to discharge.

If your considering winterizing........no idea.

+1 on the above...

To empty run the pump until nothing comes out, then for winterizing use the pink non-toxic antifreeze, and run until it comes out of the hose... I would also run this through the coolers, and the live-well!
