does anyone know how I can redo the fiberglass lid on my 1977 Morgan. The fiberglass looks terrible and I would like to replace it with a new smoked one or find away to have it fixed. I can not find a new one being that it is not square. Thank you for your help.

Post a picture or link to a picture so we can see it. Much better at helping once we see the problem at hand.

Is this a deck cover or like a hatch cover? Is it cracked or just really dull? You can make anything with fiberglass you might be able to dulicate the lid and add that smoked whatever. We need to see what we are doing working in the dark is not good.

what kind of morgan do you have? I'm familiar with the 27 and the 41 out island.. they both have solid (no glass) hatches.. the old hatch could probably be filled and faired then re-gelled and it would look better than the rest of the boat...or use the old one for a mold and build a new one.......

Dude,
Easy fix. Det your measurements, then go out and pick yourself up a piece of smoked Plexiglass. Pull out the old piece and glue/screw the new one in.
BTW Nice boat dude.

I thought of doing that, but I am afraid it will not look 100%. The hatch now is all one piece.

Quadtrash you can do it. It will look better than new. I would get a teak strip along the inside edge to hide the screws and such so when you lift it you will not see them.
