frozen prop on inline merc

hello, i have a inline 6 with a frozen prop, and i mean the prop wont come off the shaft. itsa nice prop and i want it , BAD!<br /><br />i took the prop nut and washer off and tugged and tugged to my hearts content but got no movement. prop is SS if that helps.<br /><br />any ideas?

Hey Phat,<br /><br />I just wrestled 10 to 12 hours with my prozen prop. My prop was a spent aluminum so how I handled it may be different than you would<br /><br />I would apply a healthy amount of heat to the hub of the prop first to see if that works.<br /><br />I ended up drilling the hub of the prop away, drilling out as much rubber as I could, lots of heat and TWIST. Then I had to rip out the rest of the rubber to exposed the ID splined piece. I cut two slots down it and chiseled some<br /><br />There is a tool for pulling props, this may be a better solution for a nice SS one
