Can multiple fuel additives be mixed together and added to your gas without causing problems? Are all additives compatible?

Re: Fuel additives

May depend on how many and how much! I add a fuel stabilizer and an upper cylinder lubricant to mine without problems.

Re: Fuel additives

There are "additives" that do multiple things. What type are you speaking of? Are you concerned with adding startron with any of them..... you will be fine.

Are we talking about an outboard 2 stroke, 4 stroke, a regular I/O? A carbed motor or Fuel Injected? Do you use a fuel filter or water separator?

Your question in a section that is not for engine topics is vague.

More info please

Re: Fuel additives

We are talking about a fourstroke carbed motor, have added stabil and ring conditioner in the past, looking to add seafoam to the mix. Running a 10 micron filter. Just trying new things to combat fuel issues with E-10. Placed this thread in this forum to seek out different peoples views.

Re: Fuel additives

I routinely mix Yamaha Ringfree, Stabil, Pennzoil 2 stroke outboard motor oil, and 87 octane gasoline together with no problems.

Re: Fuel additives

is that 10 micron filter a fuel/water separator filter? if not, you may want to buy one

What is the specific E10 issue that your trying to remedy?

also, if you want to combat E10, dont use it. http://pure-gas.org/ dumping $10 worth of additives in a tank to save $4 over buying non E10 doesnt make sense.

Seafoam is a mixture of light oils, solvents, and isopropyl alcohol. you are already running a ring conditioner which is oils and solvents.
