that's fine if you can get it, I am on the Illinois river and it's either pull out and go to a gas station or across the river to a marina that nobody knows what kind of fuel it it... other than expessive, not sure if it's alcohol or alcohol free gas. so what additive do most use??

If things are dirty there isn't anything the is a cleaner in a bottle or can. If injectors/car/tank need cleaned, then they need to be cleaned individually.

Injectors should be sent to a "marine" injector cleaner (not auto) which will flow test to 6000 rpm

Carb, pull apart and clean

Tank, drain and let us know what you have and lets plan how

Luckily, in Oklahoma you have the choice to still get pure gas. I know many states do not give that choice and mandate ethanol. I don't know anybody around here that gets ethonol even at the cheaper price. Nobody wants that in their car, boat, lawn mower, ect...

... what or if you use a fuel stabilizer ....

Snake oils the lot of them! Waste of time and money.

Just put clean fuel in your tank, ethanol or ethanol-free, doesn't matter, and keep your filter change intervals... Do that and you won't have any trouble.
