fuel belching from filler

Hi

I have a 2000 21ft bayliner
whenever i fill the fuel tank it will get about 3/4 full then it will spray fuel back at me from the fill port and it appears that the vent is ok.
Can anyone help! ??

Better check that fuel vent again...or you are just trying to put fuel in faster than the fill hose can handle it. Be 100% sure of your tanks capacity too. It may be fuller than you realize.
