WHAT WILL CAUSE THE PRIMER BULB TO  CALAPSE. MINE CALAPSES AND ENGINE GOES DEAD WAIT A MINUTE OR TWO AND THE BULB WILL FILL BACK UP ON ITS OWN BUT IT IS HARD TO START BACK UP. WHEN THE BULB FILLS BACK UP (ON ITS OWN) IT DOES GET HARD.

Re: FUEL BULB

look at the arrow on your fuel bulb. is it pointing toward the engine. the hose could but on backwards and will cause this. easy mistake.

Re: FUEL BULB

Thanks for the info. I was leaning towards a bad syphon valve but i have never had this problem before. Do you know if you can buy the valve or just replace tank. Again thanks.

Re: FUEL BULB

If your tank has a removeable(threaded) fuel fitting on it ,you can just get a replacement. The anti-syphon valve if it has one ,is integrated into the fitting. If the fuel line and bulb are reasonably used,I'd just get myself a whole new fuel line and bulb. You can buy these in varying lengths already made up.Just insure that the tank pickup tube is clear and the tank is venting.
