Nicks reply is for wide open throttle (5500 rpm+).<br />I cruise at appx 4k rpm with a 1995 175 hp and burn about 10-12 gph @ 20-25 knots. I pretty much get 3 mpg except above 5000 rpm it drops to 2 mpg.<br /><br />Edit: my boat loaded is over 3000 lbs 22' Trophy for comparison. Your mpg will probably be 25% better than mine if we're setup similar. Either way, I have to see my loan officer before I hit the pumps too!!!
Thanks Nick. <br /><br />I hear ya Angus! My boat's got an 80 gallon fuel tank And I'm not looking forward to the first fill-up. I just hope it lasts a while.
