Often there is discussion about the cost of fuel, which is a consideration of boat ownership, but not as significant as you might think. I try to save $$$ on fuel more out of principle than actual make or break of the boating budget.
This morning, since I just came off a 3+ week 'vacation' (a benefit of semi retirement), I reviewed the average annual cost of ownership for my boat and fuel is only about 18% of my "T.C.O.". This is probably pretty typical of many of us, so I wanted to share. FWIW
