I have a Volvo Penta 5.0gi. I can run it all day shutting off the engine for 5 min here 10 min there no problems.
But after I shut it off for up to 45min +after warmup it will start fine run up to say 3000rpm then it will cough choke for say 20 sec then clear up and run fine. Anytime it sits for somewhere around 45min after warming up it will do this. 5 to 10 min engine off, no problem.
I changed both fuel pumps and filter. Now same thing only now it just flattens out drops off from 3000 to 2700RPM?s for about 10 sec then runs fine.
