Has anyone had an issue with the Fuel Demand Valve going bad?
2016 Mercury 115 4 stroke.
the motor cranks and idles fine, when you get to about 4000 RPMs it bogs down and loses power, If I stay under 4000 RPM it runs fine. A friend had a similar issue and said that a new FDV remedied the problem.
I have one ordered and will install later this week. I have never used Ethanol gas in the motor and I bought it new.
Any thoughts on this??
