1995 150 Ocean pro.Stbd side carbs are dripping a lot from all 3 at idle.Other side seems fine. There was enough dripping and accumulating in the cowl that i was leary of taking a ride.High idle (rev)seemed to stop or slow dripping.Where to start or is it just time for rebuild.Had em done 7-8 years ago.Charlie

Well, it is certainly time for some sort of repair. Some of those motors had plastic carb bowls. They can warp and leak. You might check 'em with a straight edge and see.

Since it has been so long, even if the bowls are warped, I would clean carbs and install new gaskets, inlet needles and bowls, if needed.

They also have a small brass ball in the bowl. You can see them on the starboard carb bowls without any disassembly. The balls will start to seep. New bowls will have better installed ball shots.

Update,WAS dripping badly on its first running of the season from stbd carbs all 3.Next day ran it again with hardly any dripping.Next day ran again with next to no leakage.Let it idle and rev for a good 15 mins.Seems fine now.My guess is gaskets dried out over winter and have now plumped back up after a few runs.Gonna have it looked at anyway.Things dont fix themselves though we all would like to believe they do..Lol Charlie

Gaskets or leaking float needle valve.

Ive had more issues with needle valves than gaskets over the years

Might want to fog the motor before storage this fall. Guessing it should leave some residue in the carbs.

I Always fog the motor as soon at it comes home in Oct.Also give it a hi dose of seafoam for initial spring startup.I put anywhere from 20-30 minutes of running on hi dose of seafoam/premix combo .You wouldnt believe the crap that comes out of the exhaust with seafoam running thru the system.Charlie

Yeah, but Seafoam and other carbon-dissolving solvents may not be great for carb gaskets. May get other opinions, of course....
