Fuel enrichment

Engine is a P40TLHW . When I start my Yammy on a old morning, it starts perfect except it seems to be idleing way to fast untill it warms and drops RPM. It worries me how fast it is running on warm up, it sounds like it is going to fly apart. Is there anyway to adjust the fast idle? Thanks

How fast is it running? 1500rpms would be normal... anything over would not be.

I dont have a tach. It just sounds too fast. It never has got my atttention before. I assume there is no adjustment for it. I do know that my mechanic put in a new diaphram recently.
