fuel filter location on 1990 90 hp johnson vro v4

i want to change the fuel filter on my 1990 90 hp johnson vro v4 because this boat has sat a dni am not sure if it has ever been changed. where is it located and where can i buy a new one at? would advanced or auto zone have it

Easiest way to locate a fuel filter is start at the fuel tank and follow the fuel line all the way into the fuel pump. The little filter should be on the port side (I think), but doing it "my way", there's no doubt. Also, lots of owners install fuel/water separaters (looks like and oil filter usually mounted somewhere around the transom area) that have spin-off filters available at Wal Mart. If yours doesn't have one, it wouldn't hurt to install one as they're really easy to put in.
