I did not realize that my 2006 25HP 4 stroke Mercury engine do not have good Fuel Filter/Water Separator.

All of these small problem on bad gas in the past, when I fill up 4 gallons of fuel to 23 gallons of tank in my boat. Use it in every once of week as long as it nice day out. I believe there is so much air space in the tank that created moisture into gas which cause bad gas.

I am thinking about replace new 5 gallons fuel tank and new Fuel Filter/Water Separator. But There is so many brand of Fuel Filter/Water Separator out there.

If you have small 25 HP 4 stroke engine, what brand will you buy Fuel Filter/Water Separator? Thanks

I'm a big fan of the Racor filters. They are pretty pricey, but wellworth it I think. Try a 120 series assembly. Perfect size for that smaller engine.
