fuel filter?

I have a 1989 mercruiser 3.0 I can't see a fuel filter anywhere. Is there one in the fuel pump?

When I install a water separating filter, will there be no need for any other filter?

Should be part of the fuel pump. Yes a sep filter would be plenty.

There is also a small filter just before the carb.
