Fuel filter?

I cant find the fuel filter on my 1984 Bayliner capri cuddy cabin,4 cylinder volvo penta AQ 125,270 outdrive.Is it in the gas tank?It has to have a filter somewhere doesnt it?

Some didn't have filters. Just get a water separating fuel filter kit and install it between the tank and the fuel pump.
