Hello all !

I just purchased a used NavMan F210 on ebay, and planning to install on my 95 Rude' 130. My question is the order of the lines.

Right now it is Line- Bulb-Line-Filter-Line-Engine. The sensor goes in after the filter but do I install everything downline of the bulb? The filter is a 10 micron inline filter.

Looking forward to actually having and providing out to the others the fuel consumption of my 2.0 Looper !

Don't know about the nav man, but my Garmin requires a filter in front of the sensor and the sensor must be mounted in a vertical position. My install- filter, sensor, racor, bulb, filter engine.

I had this unit on one of my previous boats and it was installed at the outlet of the fuel tank right after a filter (second thing in line). Make sure the transducer is shock protected in what ever manner you can. It cannot be allowed to bounce around in the bilge. The turbine wheel in the transducer is a very delicate assembly and they are prone to vibration. Those units provide a number of readings ranging from fuel remaining, GPH instantaneous and average, (not MPG) since there is no distance measurement capability) fuel totalizer etc. Very handy units for determining the "cruise" sweet spot. It will also tell you within 1/4 mile from the dock if somethng is amiss. If you normally see 5 GPH at a given speed/load and you now see 7 GPH at that speed/load, better head back to the dock to see why the change?

Thank you for the insight. I also fly R/C, 50cc and up. Your main pic looks r/c atleast lol

I have no intention of installing it in the bilge, my plan is the install it like such.

Fuel tank - Fuel Filter - Fuel Bulb - Transducer - Engine. I have an outboard with an installed tank. I can mount it vertical coming just outside of the engine, it will be about a 65-70 degree angle with the fuel line out of the cowling. Would this work keeping it outside?
