fuel flow restriction 1991 johnson

when riding full out i get these short beeps and the panel says fuel flow restriction, im guessing this means its not getting the right amount of gas. has anyone had this problem and can tell me where to start and what to look for. engine is a 200 hp

First place to check would be the fuel filter(s) to make sure there is no obstruction. Also make sure your fuel tank vent is clear...
