Fuel Gage is crazy

hello GANG!!

I have small problem with my fuel Gage. It seems when I Turn the Ignition on it's pulsing (needle is going back and forward) then when engine gas tank is almost empty marks full. Just wonder if this indication of bad sending unit or bad floater??? or else..any ideas what to check for will be great.. I am looking forward to open fuel tank this weekend and take a look a the floater.

Check all the connections and make sure they are clean and tight.

let you guys know that the sending unit was not making contact inside the bar so i pushed down a bit now fuel Gage works k
