The only thing that's different is the wire color. Electricity doesn't care about that. Remove the wires from the old gauge (one at a time) and put it on the same terminal on the new gauge. The new guage will be marked + (as for +12V when the key is on). - (as in ground) and S (as in sender) which is the line from the fuel tank sending unit. The other two wires are the light wire (hot and ground). Match the function -- not the wire colors.
