Fuel Hose Question - Help!!!!

GUys,
I am almost done putting my '83 115hp Johnson all back together.

However, I am now to the routing of the fuel hoses.
My question is this:
Behind the carbs are little plastic fittings that the book calls check valve filters and nipples. I got all of those correctly routed. BELOW the bottom right-hand plastic fitting (as you face the carbs)at the bottom there is a metal fitting coming off the plate the carbs mount to. It has a rubber hose coming off....BUT I CANT FIND WHAT IT GOES TO???????? I labeled the hose as "to the jet on bottom of carb plate" but nothing at the other end.

Is this hose just for air intake? Anybody know which hose I am referring to? BELOW the bottom right hand plastic fitting???

All my other hoses are routed properly and the book does not show this on the routing page in the appendix.

I'm thinking the hose you describe runs to the bottom rear of the intake silencer.I may be wrong.I assume you already have the fuel primer hoses identified and attached correctly.
