fuel hoses & barbs

Anyone have a good tip or two for getting plastic or rubber fuel lines onto
brass or aluminum hose barbs? Hair dryer, silicone spray, dab of grease ???

Ayuh,... Rubber lines usually slip on fairly easily, so long as the hose, 'n fitting are the proper sizes...

For plastic, ya, I use heat...

I've had good luck with a little squirt of WD40.

Dip a Q-Tip in 50-1 oil and swab the inside of the hose.
