fuel leak?

hey guys. i've been updating the boat for a few months now and am getting close to getting it in the water. i went to fire it up today and it didn't want to start. when i primed it the ball didn't really get hard and when i investigated i saw fuel coming from the end (clamp). tightened that down and primed it again and this time fuel was coming from the connection point (not at either connector but the connection itself).
the motor did fire and ran after with no fuel leaking at this connection point. however, it does squirt out when priming. haven't ever noticed this before.....anybody have any idea? clogged fuel filter?
here's a pic:

Re: fuel leak?

Needs a new O ring in the connector.

If you don't replace it you will get air sucked in there and you'll starve the motor of fuel.

BTW worm drive hose clips are not so good on small daimeter hose as they distort the hose. Yours looks like it is done up very tight. Is that the correct hose for the fitting.

If it is i think I would cut an inch or so off to make the joint on a good bit and use a differnt type of clip

These are better IMHO
