Fuel line adapter for cheap plastic tank?

I have a 1984 VRO V4 115 hp. I bought one of the inexpensive portable 6 gal tanks, thinking to try the engine on the hose. I never even looked at the fuel line. It's a double line at each end. Is there an adapter I can get to connect to the portable fuel tank? I've done some reading of old posts and there was talk of needing a fuel pump to make the change from the double to the single line. C'mon, let me know how much else I don't know. And thanks for the help.

Ya, I am running a Yamaha tank and an Evinrude motor, just a different hose end.

All the Yamaha motors at work came with a 6 gal fuel tank but we used onboard gas tanks so they were giving away a whole skid of them, grabbed 3 and wish I had gotten more cause they don't do it anymore.
