fuel line or ?

1979 seaking 7.5hp model#k751-506 B Serial# 1381820 Type# xtv50575 B Clinton motor, it has tillotson carb there is a hose from what looks like a filter housing on the side of carb, it goes back into engine, is this a ruel return or air hose ?? anyy help please, thanks.

A picture would help, but it sounds like the fuel pump and pulse line that drives it.

Thanks a lot guys, got my seaking clinton 1978 carb all done fires up and runs ow i notice the waterpump doesnt appear to be working,seaking 1978 model#xtv50507 B serial#1575370 Type#K7516107 Clinton, where can i order water pump impeller and seals for bottom end ?? thanks for all your help.
