My TJ60TLESM acts like it is running out of fuel at high RPM. I was going to install a fuel pressure gage in the out going line from the VRO. I noticed that the line from the VRO is either 5/16 or 1/4 inch. It conects to a 90 or elbow at the bottom of fuel line manifold. The elbow is 5/16 or 1/4 inch inlet and 1/8 outlet. The 1/8 line runs verticle through 3 tees(3 carbs and inrichener). Is this some sort of pressure regulation? or did previous owner re-do the fuel lines improperly? Shouldn't the elbow be 1/4 or 5/16 in and out, and the tees be 1/4 or 5/16 on the through barbs and 1/8 on barb to each carb and inrichener?
Thanks, Jim

Hi Jim.

From the pump to the elbow is 5/16" hose.

Tee to Tee and to the carbs is 5/32" hose.

Supply hose to primer solenoid is 1/16" hose.

You'll still have pump pressure output at each hose but with less flow. The fuel lines are sized for flow and not pressure.
