I'm try to distribute the weight evenly in my boat. i already have a 100lb short shaft 20hp Honda,35lb marine battery and my big butt in the rear of my 14' Klamath, that roughly equals 340lbs in the rear of the boat.

Can I run the 3/8" fuel line through the bottom groove of my boat to the front into my 6gal gas tank? If so, the fuel line will be in water somedays when it rains, etc. is the fuel line safe to be in water, etc. or will there be other issues having the fuel line in the bottom groove of the boat?

Thanks again!

Ayuh,... Go ahead, the fuel line will keep water out, just as it keeps the gas In...

I would suggest you cover the fuel line with something, maybe flexible corrugated plastic conduit, for abrasion and UV protection of the line.
